Michael Simpson

Michael Simpson is the CEO of CliniSys. Michael has over 40 years of experience in cross-disciplinary fields such as clinical, histology, molecular, and genetics. This experience has given him a deep understanding of how laboratory workflow systems operate. Michael is dedicated to CliniSys' customers and their strategic initiatives, with a focus on quality that improves resource efficiency, saves costs, and increases patient safety. Michael also has a strong commitment to vendor-agnostic open standards interoperability.

Prior to their current role, Simpson served as the President and CEO of Sunquest Information Systems & CliniSys Group. Michael was also the Vice President/Executive in Residence at Amazon Web Services (AWS) and a Board Member at eHealth Initiative. Michael founded Caradigm in 2011 and served as its CEO until 2016.

Michael Simpson graduated from Harvard Business School with a degree in business administration and management. Michael then worked in the engineering design field for Brigham Young University.
