Brandon Heist has extensive work experience in various roles within the hospitality and food & beverage industry. Brandon started their career as a Cook at Blackhawk Grille and Prima Vini Wine Merchants & Restaurant in 2008. Brandon then gained experience as a Cook at The Restaurant at Meadowood, a prestigious establishment with 3 Michelin Stars. In 2010, they worked as a Management Intern at The Club at Las Campanas, where they learned about F&B management. In 2011, they joined Big Canyon Country Club as a Food & Beverage Manager and Sommelier, responsible for managing multiple outlets and overseeing a large team. Brandon also held the position of Beverage Manager and Assistant Sommelier during their time there. In 2014, they joined The Olympic Club as an Operations Manager and Sommelier, where they successfully grew food and beverage sales and curated an award-winning beverage program. In 2016, they became the General Manager at Credo, a role they held until 2021. Most recently, they have taken on leadership positions at Merchants Exchange Productions and The Clint Reilly Organization, serving as Director of Finance and Business Operations. Overall, Brandon's career demonstrates their expertise in finance, operations, and management in the hospitality industry.

Brandon Heist attended The Collins College of Hospitality Management at Cal Poly Pomona from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Administration/Management. Brandon also pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Management at California State Polytechnic University-Pomona. Prior to pursuing higher education, Brandon attended San Ramon Valley High School. Additionally, they have obtained certifications including an Advanced Certificate in Wines & Spirits from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust, a Certified Sommelier from The Court of Master Sommeliers, and a Certified TIPS Trainer from Tips Alcohol.
