1st Source Defense

1ST SOURCE DEFENSE, LLC serves as the current position of Executive Director for the organization since October 2020. Concurrently, 1ST SOURCE DEFENSE holds an adjunct professor position at Clinton College beginning in August 2020. Previous roles include an instructional facilitator at Fort Jackson from July 2023 to April 2025, a recruiter at South Carolina Youth ChalleNGe Academy from September 2022 to July 2023, and a training supervisor at ROSS Distribution Centers from December 2018 to August 2021. Additional experience includes service as a police officer with the Midlands Technical College Police Department from June 2015 to April 2018 and as a deputy, investigator, and school resource officer with the Orangeburg County Sheriff's Office from October 2008 to June 2015. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from Capella University, a Master's degree from South University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice/Sociology from Claflin University. Additionally, 1ST SOURCE DEFENSE is currently pursuing a PhD in Criminal Justice/Police Science at Walden University since September 2023.
