Susan Osmonson

Susan Osmonson has over three decades of experience in education and library services. Currently serving as a Care-Team/Page at Clinton-Macomb Public Library since October 2021, Susan previously dedicated over 30 years to the Hamtramck School District and Hamtramck Public Schools, where Susan worked as a teacher and retired as an Early Childhood Leader overseeing ECE programs. Additionally, Susan began their career as a Designated Early Childhood Educator at Head-Start. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Administration of Early Childhood Education from Oakland University, a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from Michigan State University, and an Associate's degree in Child Development from Northern Michigan University.

Clinton-Macomb Public Library

The Clinton-Macomb Public Library (CMPL) is a district library serving a rapidly growing population of 185,000. Formed in 1992, CMPL directly serves all of the residents of Macomb Township and most of Clinton Township, with the exception of the portion in the Mount Clemens School District, which is served by Mount Clemens Public Library. CMPL is mostly funded by local property taxes from residents of Clinton and Macomb Townships. CMPL is a member of the Suburban Library Cooperative, encompassing 20 libraries in the cities and townships north of Metro Detroit.
