The Role

We are looking for a rockstar who would like to be part of this amazing fast-growing Fintech as a Planning & Reporting Specialist for Financial Services. At Clip she/he will be responsible for supporting the development of strategic plans, robust forecasting models, managing the business unit´s expenses and funding structures. Additionally, the role will involve ensuring the successful execution of initiatives to drive growth and ensure the sustainability of our lending business unit

What will I be doing?

1. Business Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate reporting of business performance

2. Optimize Expense: Validation and analysis of expenses, as well as identify opportunities of efficiency and business strategies

3. Business Analysis: Support in the process of financial analysis and comparison of results vs. budget and forecast

4. Forecasting: Support in forecasting process to provide accurate financial projections for better decision-making

5. Business case: Execute and analyze business cases for new iniciatives

6. Coordinate Across Teams: Work with different departments to align planning and reporting efforts.

7. Optimize Funding: support in the analysis of funding and related business cases

Ideal Candidate 

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accountant, Actuary or a related field (MBA or advanced degree is a plus)

• +3 years of experience with emphasis on planning and reporting management within the lending industry, preferably in the Fintech or traditional Banking industry

• Financial Systems: Familiarity with financial management systems for data management and reporting

• Financial Analysis: Experience in P&L analysis and expense efficiency, also

• Efficient Reporting: Experience in preparing executive presentations and communicating results effectively

• Modeling and business cases: Experience in financial modeling for forecasting and business cases

• Data: SQL preferred

• Market Knowledge: Understanding of industry-relevant market dynamics and trends

• Communication skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in English and Spanish
