Steve Young has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Steve currently serves as the Director of Product Management at ClockShark since April 2021. There, they automated image processing, color correction, and file handling processes through Adobe Creative Suite automation. Additionally, they created software for gathering art metadata and digital art mock-ups. Prior to that, they worked as an Assistant Manager at Steve's ATV from March 2007 to January 2010. Steve oversaw the logistics of a large rental fleet and led a team to ensure customer safety and satisfaction.

Steve Young attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 2005 to 2009. Steve studied Mechanical Engineering during this time but did not complete a specific degree.
