Eric Culp has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Eric currently holds the position of Software Engineer at Clockwise since March 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Google as a Software Engineer - Site Reliability Engineering from May 2016 to February 2019. During their time at Google, Eric developed services for low-dependency server management, successfully decommissioned a legacy server management platform, and worked across the company to find and fix dependency cycles in low-level infrastructure. Before joining Google, Eric worked at Quantcast as a Software Engineer from March 2014 to April 2016. In this role, they improved the reliability, performance, and functionality of a big-data job workflow service, contributed to a big-data SQL-on-MapReduce system, and was part of a rotation of 3-6 people for 24/7 on-call duties.
