Mark Draper

Mark Draper is an experienced finance professional specializing in renewable energy projects. Currently, Mark serves as the Head of Construction in the Energy Division at Close Brothers Asset Finance and Leasing since July 2022, after previously holding the position of Construction & In-Life Manager within the same division from July 2014 to July 2022, where Mark focused on providing finance solutions for onshore wind, hydroelectric, and solar projects while managing risk and technical due diligence. Earlier in Mark's career, spanning from September 1999 to June 2014 at The Co-operative Banking Group, Mark held various roles including Technical & Relationship Manager in the Renewable Energy Department, where oversight of construction monitoring and customer relationship management for renewable energy clients were key responsibilities. Additionally, Mark contributed to business development in renewable energy finance and asset finance & leasing through several prior positions.
