Alex Sloley is an experienced financial executive with a strong background in leadership roles across various companies. Currently serving as the Non Executive Chairman of Cloud.IQ since April 2020, Alex has previously held positions such as CFO at Benefex for a brief period in 2018, and CFO at Triptease from February 2017 to June 2018. Alex also served as CFO at Brandwatch from July 2012 to February 2017 and as Finance Director at Wavex Technology Ltd. from 2004 to July 2012. Earlier experience includes co-founding Infoconomy, where responsibilities included serving as finance editor and CFO from 2000 to 2003, and a role as Finance Editor at Computerwire from 1997 to 2000. Alex began a career in finance as an Audit Senior at Smith & Williamson from 1992 to 1996. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Edinburgh.
