Kohsuke Kawaguchi

Kohsuke Kawaguchi is a prominent figure in the software development industry, currently serving as Co-head of AI and Chief Scientist at CloudBees since November 2010, where significant contributions included scaling the company and developing the enterprise version of Jenkins. As a creator and BDFL of the Jenkins project, Kawaguchi has played a crucial role in building a thriving ecosystem with over 1500 plugins. In addition to advising multiple organizations, including O/D Vision and Creationline, Kawaguchi held leadership positions at Launchable Inc. and the Continuous Delivery Foundation. An early career milestone included founding InfraDNA, which merged with CloudBees, and previous roles at Oracle Corporation and as lead of the Hudson project. Kawaguchi earned an M.Eng in Computer Science from Cornell University and a BS in Information Science from The University of Tokyo.
