Brian Lachance

Brian Lachance is an experienced information security professional with a strong background in cloud security. Currently serving as the Director of Cloud Security at Cloudera since June 2021, Brian has also held the position of Director of Cloud SaaS Operations. Prior to Cloudera, Brian was the Chief Information Security Officer at Cazena from August 2015 to September 2022 and served as Senior Manager SecOps at IBM from January 2011 to August 2015. Additional roles include Vice President of IT at Netezza Corp from January 2004 to December 2010, Director of IT at PhotonEx Corp. from 2001 to 2003, and various IT positions at KANA Software from 1999 to 2002. Brian holds a degree from Southern New Hampshire University, earned between 1996 and 1998, and specializes in designing and implementing complex security architectures and management frameworks for cloud service providers.
