Oleksandr Malovanyi

Oleksandr (Alex) Malovanyi is a seasoned data engineering professional with extensive experience in leadership and team management roles. Currently serving as a Senior Manager in Enterprise Data Engineering at Cloudera since October 2019, Oleksandr leads a globally distributed team of Data Engineers and fosters a culture of innovation and continuous learning. Previous experience includes managing a team of data engineers at Cloudera and a contract role as Lead Data Engineer at Luxoft for Deutsche Bank, where Oleksandr designed large, distributed data platforms. Earlier positions at Citia BTC and R-Style Softlab involved senior data engineering roles, focusing on data warehousing solutions and managing data solution engineering teams. Oleksandr holds Master's degrees in Computer Science from the National Technical University of Ukraine 'Kyiv Polytechnic Institute' and in Finance from Uman National University.
