Rich Andrade started their work experience as a General Machinist/Shop Supervisor at Great Lakes Connections in 2008. Rich had responsibilities such as reading blueprints, using manual and CNC machines, supervising and training employees, implementing workplace safety, and ensuring timely production and shipment of orders. In 2016, they became a journeyperson Machinist at Patriot Forge Co., where they operated vertical turning lathes, worked with tight tolerances, operated cranes and tow motors, and analyzed jobs with various materials. In 2018, Rich joined XLTool as a Journeyman Machinist, using Mastercam software to program part geometry for aerospace, nuclear, and automotive industries. Rich also machined parts with high accuracy on a CNC lathe. In 2023, they joined CloudHawk as an IoT Hardware Assembler/Shipper.
Rich Andrade completed a CyberSecurity BootCamp from the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies in 2021. Prior to that, they pursued a General Machinist Apprenticeship at Conestoga College from 2009 to 2012. Rich also holds additional certifications, including a Red Seal Certification of Qualification from the Ontario College of Trades obtained in 2014, and a Certification of Apprenticeship from Conestoga College obtained in 2012. No further information regarding the obtained month for each certification is provided.
