Oded Arbel

Oded Arbel has over 20 years of work experience in the technology industry. Oded began their career in 1996 at Beit Alfa as an IT where they were a one-man team responsible for system administration, network management, software design and development, and help-desk support. In 2001, they joined m-Wise INC as a Team Leader where they designed a high-capacity multi-protocol messaging infrastructure and maintained the company's open source work with the Kannel open source WAP and SMS gateway project. In 2003, they became Co-Owner of Heptagon Software Services and Consultant of Netmask. In 2006, they joined Atelis PLC as R&D Manager & Chief Architect where they were responsible for developing the company's highly-scalable VoIP switch management software using peer-to-peer technologies and distributed database technology. In 2007, they joined Taboola.com as a Software Engineer. In 2012, they joined Intel as a Micro-Architect. In 2014, they joined Showbox.com as a DevOps Manager. In 2016, they joined GreenField Technologies as a Software Architect. In 2017, they joined Cloudonix.io as CTO, VP R&D where they were responsible for developing encompassing system architecture and micro-architecture, creating system requirements and API documentation, developing proof of concept implementations, managing automation and orchestration tools and infrastructure, and providing technical know-how and developer support across the company.

Oded Arbel obtained a certificate as a Triplebyte Certified Generalist Software Engineer from Triplebyte in August 2020. Prior to that, they studied Computer Science at The Open University of Israel from 1996 to 1997.
