Derek Gardner

Derek Gardner is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in product management and technical support. Currently serving as an Associate Lecturer at The Open University since October 2020, Derek previously held the role of Product Owner at Zeetta Networks and contributed to product expansion at Nokia as a Product Manager/Owner from June 2011 to December 2019. Notable achievements include driving growth into new use cases and enhancing customer-focused outcomes, supported by thorough analysis of environments and customer needs. Earlier in their career, Derek managed a support team at Motorola Solutions, providing technical support for core networks across EMEA. Derek holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Technology Management and a BSc (Hons) in Electronics & Computing, both from The Open University.
