Joanne Ede is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in employee relations and risk management. Currently serving as Chief Legal & Risk Officer and Executive Manager Workplace Relations at ClubsNSW since July 2019, Ede previously held the position of General Counsel Employee Relations at The Star Entertainment Group from August 2011 to July 2019. Prior roles include Legal Counsel - Employee Relations Legal at Westpac, Senior Associate positions at Australian Business Lawyers and Ashurst, and paralegal roles at Covington & Burling and Clayton Utz. Ede holds a Graduate degree from the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a Master of Laws from the University of Sydney, and dual Bachelor degrees in Laws (Hons) and Business from the University of Technology Sydney.
