Clúid Housing
Laura McDonnell has a diverse range of work experience in the marketing and communications field. Laura is currently the Head of Communication & Policy at Clúid Housing, where they are responsible for developing strategies for communication, stakeholder engagement, and marketing. Prior to this, Laura served as a Non-Executive Director - Marketing at HUGG (Healing Untold Grief Groups), a suicide bereavement charity. Laura also held the role of Strategic Marketing Manager at Horseware Ireland, where they developed the global marketing strategy and led digital marketing efforts. Laura has experience in brand management as the Head of Marketing at Bewleys Coffee Ltd and as the Brand Communications Manager at Keelings. Laura has also worked in various marketing roles at Hot Press, Patrick's National School, Dublin City University, McCann, and GE.
Laura McDonnell completed a BA in European Business with a focus on Business Administration and Management at Dublin City University from 2001 to 2005. Laura then pursued a BS in International Business, with a major in Marketing, at Northeastern University, completing their studies in 2005. Following this, they obtained an MBS in Marketing from Dublin City University, although the specific years are not provided.
More recently, in 2020 and 2021, Laura McDonnell completed a Professional Diploma in Sales Management at University College Dublin, with a specialization in Sales Management.
In terms of additional certifications, Laura McDonnell obtained a CIH Level 4 Certificate in Housing from the Chartered Institute of Housing in March 2023. Although the completion month and year are not mentioned, Laura also holds a Diploma in Digital Marketing from the Digital Marketing Institute and a Diploma in Finance for Non-Financial Managers from Griffith College Dublin, although the exact dates of completion are unknown.
