Matt Cannon

Matt Cannon is an experienced finance and risk management professional with a diverse background in various roles within the finance sector. Currently serving as Senior Executive Business Manager in Finance & Treasury at Virgin Money since March 2019, Matt has also held positions such as Enterprise Risk Senior Manager and Risk Reporting Manager within the same organization. Previous experience includes Finance and Treasury Manager for Internal Audit at TSB Bank from December 2017 to February 2019 and several key roles at KPMG UK from October 2012 to December 2017. Matt began the career as a Social Media and Marketing Intern at P1.cn in 2010. Educational qualifications include credentials from the Association of Corporate Treasurers obtained between 2018 and 2023, ICAEW from 2013 to 2017, and a B.Sc in Geography from the University of St Andrews, completed in 2011.
