Christopher Hipsey

Christopher Hipsey is an experienced maritime professional currently serving as the UK Port Operations General Manager at CMA CGM since April 2021. Previous roles include Port Operations Execution Manager at CMA CGM, Technical Manager for Europe and Account Manager at Hepburn Bio Care, and various positions at the British Antarctic Survey, culminating as Chief Officer. Hipsey began a career at Maersk Line as a 3rd officer from 2006 to 2011. Educational achievements include a CoC in Chief Mate from Warsash Maritime Academy (2016-2017) and a BSc in Nautical Studies from the University of Plymouth (2004-2008).
