Florent Michel

Florent MICHEL currently serves as the OPEX/Spare Parts Lead Buyer at CMA CGM since June 2025, overseeing spare parts and consumables sourcing strategy for 37 port terminals globally. Prior to this, Florent MICHEL held various roles at ArcelorMittal from September 2011 to May 2025, including Sales Manager for by-products, where responsibilities encompassed sales management and achieving revenue targets, as well as leading procurement teams for Capex and maintenance projects across multiple sites in France and Italy. Additional experience includes positions at Syngenta, Alstom, Volvo Trucks, C&S Communications et Systèmes, and AXS, where Florent MICHEL focused on procurement and project management across engineering, power, and manufacturing sectors. Florent MICHEL holds a Post-graduate MAI in Procurement from KEDGE Business School and a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Grenoble INP - Ense3.
