Malaka Fernando

Malaka FERNANDO currently serves as the Process and Quality Development Manager for the Benelux region at CMA CGM, a position held since November 2005, overseeing strategies for enhancing organizational effectiveness and productivity through continuous process improvement. With a focus on global and regional projects spanning East & Southern Africa and the Indian Ocean, Malaka has successfully promoted a Lean culture by eliminating sources of variation and waste. Previous roles include Business Process Manager and Business Process Analyst, with responsibilities in operational excellence and strategic planning across various regions. Earlier experience at McLarens Group of Companies involved applications development and analysis. Malaka holds an MBA from the University of Chichester and several other qualifications in strategic management and information technology.
