Serkan Gunes is a seasoned technology leader and co-founder of CardAlpha Ltd, where the mission focuses on providing affordable card processing and e-commerce solutions for small merchants. With extensive experience at CMC Markets since 2007, Serkan has held multiple roles, including Senior Systems Architect, where expertise in cloud-based systems design using AWS has been pivotal. Previous positions at CMC Markets include Senior Software Consultant, Technical Team Leader for HTML5/JS/FLEX development, and various Java development roles, contributing significantly to next-generation trading applications. Prior experience includes a Senior Software Engineer/Technical Team Leader role at Empower Interactive and a Software Specialist role at Innova. Educationally, Serkan holds a Bachelor of Computer Engineering from Ege University and completed GCSE at Denizli Anadolu Lisesi.
