Andrew Cecere serves as the Chief Security Officer at CME Group since August 2017, overseeing the development and implementation of global security policies and procedures, including business continuity and fraud prevention. Prior to this role, Andrew worked at the U.S. Secret Service from January 1996 to August 2017, where responsibilities included supervising complex investigations into counterfeiting and financial fraud, as well as managing operations for 435 Special Agents. Additionally, Andrew held roles as a Special Agent, leading advance teams for the First Family's travel security, and began a law enforcement career as a Police Officer with LAPD and Geneva Police Department. Andrew holds a Bachelor's of Science in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from Illinois State University.
