Teresa de Figueiredo Silva

Teresa de Figueiredo Silva is an experienced legal professional with a focus on market supervision and compliance. Currently serving as a Legal Advisor in Market Supervision at CMVM - Portuguese Securities Market Commission since September 2021, Teresa previously held a position in the Trading Unit of the Markets and Data Reporting Department at the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) from July 2020 to September 2021. Teresa has extensive compliance experience from their role as a Senior Compliance Officer at BNP Paribas from July 2018 to June 2020 and has worked as a Legal Advisor at Eduardo Paz Ferreira & Associados and the Portuguese Competition Authority. Teresa holds a Master’s degree in Regulation and Competition Law from the University of Lisbon, along with Post-Graduate Programs in European Fiscal Law and European Law for Competition, and a Law Degree from the same institution.
