Keith Cocozza is Senior Vice President of Communications for CNBC based at the company’s Global Headquarters in Englewood Cliffs, N.J. Cocozza is responsible for CNBC’s external and internal communications worldwide. He was appointed to the position in January 2022.
Cocozza joined CNBC from Inwood Consulting LLC, an agency he founded which specialized in communications strategy, public relations, publicity and crisis communications for c-suite executives, marketing professionals, policy makers and community-based organizations.
Prior to launching Inwood Consulting, Cocozza was Executive Vice President for Corporate Marketing and Communications at WarnerMedia (formerly known as Time
Warner). During his two decades at the company, Cocozza developed and executed communications strategy, overseeing financial communications, media relations, employee communications and corporate social responsibility efforts across the company and its various business segments. He participated in and drove the communications undertakings of major structural and executive changes from the AOL-Time Warner days through the acquisition by AT&T to the rebranding and restructuring of the company into WarnerMedia.
Prior to joining Time Warner Inc., he was Director of Media Relations for Cablevision Systems Corporation. Before working in the media industry, Cocozza served in the New York City Mayor’s Office as a legislative affairs director. He began his professional career working for New York State Governor Mario Cuomo as a Director of Public Information.
Cocozza has a bachelor’s degree in political science and communications from Providence College. He lives in Connecticut with his wife and their two teenagers.
