CNCR, Center for Neurogenomics & Cognitive Research

As of 2008, the Center for Neurogenomics and Cognitive Research (CNCR) is the operational branding name of the Department of Neurosciences at the Faculty for Earth and Life Sciences (FALW, VU). FALW was founded around 2000 as a logical continuation of our long standing history (dating back to 70s of last century) on Neurobiology. The CNCR generates integrated research programs from genes to behavior, each combining mouse and human studies. It operates as an expertise center of the Neuroscience Campus Amsterdam. The CNCR is the coordinating institute of several national and international consortia.
