Shannon Weigand has extensive experience in human resources, spanning multiple companies and roles throughout their career. Shannon is currently serving as the Director, Human Resources Business Partner at CNG Holdings, Inc. Prior to this, they worked at Axcess Financial as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner from 2017 to 2022. Before that, they were the Agency Human Resources Manager at Western and Southern Financial Group from 2014 to 2017. Shannon also held various positions at The Home Depot, including District Human Resources Manager and Associate Support, where they supported global and strategic HR functions, coached leadership roles, developed employees, and built relationships with business partners. Shannon was also a Regional Human Resources Coordinator at Meijer Inc, where they provided strategic support to store level leadership and managed collective bargaining agreements. Throughout their career, they have focused on organizational effectiveness, employee relations, staffing, performance management, and HR communication. Shannon holds a Master's degree in Human Resources and is certified as a Senior Certified Professional by the Society for Human Resource Management.
Shannon Weigand MS, SHRM-SCP has an extensive education history in the field of Human Resources. Shannon completed their Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Management at the University of Cincinnati, where they studied from 1999 to 2007. Afterward, they pursued a Master of Science in Human Resources Development from Xavier University, where they studied from 2010 to 2012.
In addition to their degrees, Shannon has also obtained the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from SHRM in February 2016. This certification highlights their expertise and proficiency in the field of Human Resources, further reinforcing their qualifications.
