Jim Lane

Jim Lane, PC, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in product design and user experience, currently serving as Senior Director of Product Design for CNN's Revenue, Growth & Commerce team since February 2020. Lane has also held senior positions in product design across various sectors, including Vice President of User Experience at Virtru and Contactually, and Director of User Experience at Oracle Data Cloud. Additionally, Lane contributes to academic and mentorship initiatives as an Academic Advisor for the University of Maryland's HCIM program and a mentor at adplist.org. A founder of the NoVA UX Meetup, Lane has played a pivotal role in fostering the user experience community in Northern Virginia. Educational credentials include a B.S. in Cognitive Psychology from Carnegie Mellon University, with ongoing studies in Executive & Leadership Coaching at Duquesne University.
