Helen Oakley

Helen Oakley is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in financial control and operations. Currently serving as Head of Financial Control at Co-op since August 2020, Helen oversees accounts, credit control, and transaction processing teams while driving cross-functional projects and contributing to business-wide people priorities. Prior to Co-op, Helen held the position of Director of Finance and Operations at Timpson Group PLC, leading a finance team and participating in company-wide initiatives. Helen's career also includes roles as Senior Commercial Manager at Caudwell Group, Finance Manager at Pizza Hut UK & Europe, Senior Manager at KPMG, and Auditor at Arthur Andersen & Co. Helen holds a Master of Arts degree in Modern Languages from the University of Cambridge.
