Rob Thompson

Rob Thompson is an experienced packaging professional with a robust background in sustainability, policy, and technical advisory roles. Currently serving as the Senior Packaging Manager at Co-op since September 2016, Rob leads the packaging sustainability strategy and collaborates with the wider sustainability team. Prior roles include significant positions at Easyfairs and BRCGS, advising on packaging innovations and technical standards. Previous experience at Barr Soft Drinks and Dr. Oetker involved managing new product development projects and packaging material approvals across multiple facilities in the UK and Europe. Rob holds an MSc in Management Practice from Alliance Manchester Business School and various other qualifications in management and packaging technology.
