Vivek Kumar

Vivek Kumar has extensive work experience in the field of Human Resources. Vivek started their career as a Management Trainee (HR) at Coal India Limited in October 2006 and was later promoted to Assistant Manager (HR) in November 2009. Vivek then progressed to the role of Dy Manager (HR) in October 2014 and subsequently became a Manager (HR) in March 2018. In March 2022, they were promoted to Sr. Manager (HR) before assuming their current position as Head of Department (HR) in November 2022. Prior to joining Coal India Limited, Vivek worked as a Process Executive at Adecco from December 2005 to August 2006.

Vivek Kumar has a diverse education history. In 2002, they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Human Resources Management from Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University, Agra. Prior to that, from 1999 to 2002, they studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in their Bachelor of Science (B Sc) degree at D.S College, Aligarh.

In 2004, Vivek pursued further specialization by completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Labour Laws and Labour Relations and HR at Aligarh Muslim University. In 2016, they attended the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, to enhance their knowledge in Human Resource Management through a Management Development Programme.

In 2018 and 2019, Vivek obtained a Diploma in Training and Development from ISTD, further diversifying their skill set. Additionally, in 2020, they completed a Certificate Course in Contract Management at the Indian Institute of Materials Management, Mumbai.

Although a final date range is not provided, Vivek also participated in a Management Development Programme in Human Resource Management at XLRI Jamshedpur, further highlighting their dedication to ongoing education and professional development.
