Ramraj Narasimhan is a seasoned professional in disaster risk management and climate adaptation, currently serving as Senior Director of Program Management & Technical Support at the Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure since December 2023. Previously, Narasimhan held the position of Chief, Special Programs Management at RIMES, where leadership focused on program development and implementation. Narasimhan's extensive experience at UNDP included managing a $40 million disaster risk management program in Nepal, coordinating post-earthquake recovery efforts, and advising on resilience strategies. Earlier roles at RIMES and the Asian Disaster Preparedness Center involved managing climate risk assessment projects across multiple countries and enhancing community preparedness for natural disasters. Narasimhan's academic background includes a Master of Planning from the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi, and a Bachelor of Architecture from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.
