James Kelly

James Kelly is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in software development and architecture, currently serving as a Senior Principal Engineer at Coalition, Inc. Since 2019, James has significantly enhanced system performance through advanced tooling and architectural improvements, including optimizing a core Python-based monolith and implementing Golang microservices. Prior roles include Area Architect and Principal Engineer, where James focused on team development and mapping complex business processes. A strong foundation in backend development was established at companies like Research Exchange, HARNESS Property Intelligence Ltd, and various others, with a focus on improving infrastructure and deployment processes. James holds a BA in Central European, Russian, and Eurasian Studies from the University of Maryland.
