Lisa Davis has been a corporate trainer, human resources manager, and engineer for over 30 years. Lisa began their career as an engineer with AVX Corporation in 1980. In 1987, they transitioned to corporate training, where they remained for the next 21 years. In 2008, they left AVX to become the VP of HR and Training Manager at Coastal Carolina National Bank. Lisa stayed with the bank until 2012, when they joined the SC DHHS. Lisa left the DHHS in 2013 to become a freelance corporate trainer with The Kegler Group. In 2014, they served as the Interim HR and Risk Manager for the City of Georgetown. Lisa has been a Trustee at Coastal Carolina University since July 2014.
Lisa Davis has a Master of Arts in Human Performance Technology from Boise State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

Graduate programs are offered in Writing, Accountancy, Teaching, Educational Leadership and more. Admissions require students to submit an official high school transcript and ACT/SAT scores. Decisions are determined by an applicant's high school curriculum, extracurricular involvement and standardized test scores. Tuition is set lower for South Carolina residents. Financial aid is available to students who have filed a FAFSA. Forms of aid include federal grants, loans, work study programs and institutional scholarships.
