Melanie Sinclair is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in management and research. Currently serving as Managing Director at CoastSense and Marlan Maritime Technologies Ltd since May 2024 and May 2013 respectively, responsibilities include overseeing business administration, finance, management reporting, and strategic planning. In addition, Melanie has been self-employed since 2002, managing a portfolio of commercial and residential properties. Previous roles include Medical Researcher at the University of Liverpool from April 2011 to May 2015, focusing on lab work and clinical trials, and Medical Writer at Wolters Kluwer Health from 1998 to 2002, where responsibilities included creating scientific texts. Melanie holds a PhD and BSc in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Liverpool, earned between 1990 and 1997.
