Holly Frilot

Holly Frilot, Ed.D. serves as the Supervisor of Library Media Education for Cobb County Schools since June 2015, where responsibilities include overseeing over 100 K-12 library media programs and designing library learning commons spaces. Concurrently, since January 2020, Holly Frilot has held the position of Adjunct Instructor at the University of West Georgia, teaching graduate courses in instructional technology, library media, and foundational topics. Additionally, Holly Frilot has been actively involved with the Georgia Library Media Association Inc. since March 2016, serving as Past President and providing leadership for school library media statewide. Previous roles include Instructional Coach, Library Media Specialist, and Language Arts Teacher in Gwinnett County Public Schools from August 2003 to June 2015. Holly Frilot’s educational background includes a Doctor of Education from Valdosta State University, along with various degrees from the University of Georgia, including a Specialist Degree in Instructional Technology and a Master's in English/Language Arts Teacher Education.
