Troy Jones

Troy Jones is an experienced educational leader currently serving as Principal for Cobb County School District since August 2022. Previously, Troy held positions as Assistant Principal at Kell High School and Joseph Wheeler High School, as well as School Administrator at Osborne High School, where Troy also served as Head Football Coach. Earlier experience includes working as a Special Education Lead Teacher at Atlanta Public Schools. Academic credentials include a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from American College of Education, an Educational Specialist degree from the University of West Georgia, a Master’s degree in Special Education from the same institution, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Southern University.
