Petahn Foo is an experienced executive in the medical device and regulatory affairs sectors, currently serving as Vice President of Global Clinical Operations at Cochlear since September 2019, where responsibilities include overseeing the development of clinical evidence for Cochlear products. Previously, Petahn Foo held the role of Vice President for Global Pipeline Strategy and Regulatory Affairs at Cochlear, focusing on regulatory approvals for a diverse range of products. Prior to Cochlear, Petahn Foo directed Regulatory Affairs Lifecycle Innovation in Asia Pacific at Johnson & Johnson, leading teams to innovate registration strategies and ensure compliance in multiple business units. Petahn Foo’s career also includes roles in quality assurance and regulatory affairs at Johnson & Johnson, a regulatory affairs managerial position at Omnicare Clinical Research, and a scientific officer role at the Therapeutic Goods Administration. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Infection and Immunity from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Human Biology from the University of Canberra.
