Ruchi Shah is a legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law and compliance. Currently serving as Senior Associate General Counsel at Cockroach Labs since May 2021, Ruchi provides legal support for corporate transactions, equity financings, and various compliance matters. Prior to this role, Ruchi was Corporate Counsel at Knotel, handling debt and equity financings, M&A transactions, and compliance issues. Ruchi began in the legal field as Legal Fellow at the Obama Foundation, focusing on commercial contracts and compliance with IRS regulations. Ruchi's earlier experience includes serving as an associate at DLA Piper, where involvement in financing transactions and pro bono initiatives took place. Ruchi Shah earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from Harvard Law School and holds a BA in Economics and Human Rights from Barnard College, with additional education from Columbia University.
