Analytics and Business Intelligence at Coda

As part of our Analytics and BI team, you will work with top-notch Data Scientists and Data Engineers to deliver actionable insights that drive measurable business performance. You will dive deep into datasets encompassing hundreds of millions of transactions processed across 250+ payment channels worldwide, including e-wallets, credit cards, and direct carrier billing. Our gamers and digital content consumers span 60+ countries, giving you a truly global perspective on data analysis.

On top of that, collaborating closely with our Marketing, Product, Risk, Finance, and Business Development teams gives you the opportunity to leverage statistical modelling and machine learning algorithms to uncover complex patterns and insights.

As a Data Scientist, you’ll be joining a cross-functional team of other Data Scientists and Data Engineers. You will be focussing on deriving and delivering insights that generate real impact on business performance.  

At Coda, you will be working with datasets of hundreds of millions of transactions processed across hundreds of different payment channels, such as e-wallets, credit cards, direct carrier billing and over the counter by gamers and digital content consumers in 50 countries around the world. 

You will be working closely with the Marketing, Product, Risk, Finance and Business Development teams to apply statistical modeling and machine learning algorithms to identify patterns from complex datasets with hundreds of millions of records.

What will you do:

• Utilize statistical modeling and machine learning algorithms to extract patterns and insights from complex datasets consisting of hundreds of millions of records
• Create a variety of ML/Stat models to meet diverse product and marketing requirements, including predicting consumer lifetime value, optimizing pricing, and forecasting user behavior
• Collaborate with data engineers to create and maintain robust data pipelines for efficient data processing
• Implement effective feature engineering strategies to enhance the performance of predictive models
• Analyze and interpret A/B testing results using statistical hypothesis testing
• Create informative dashboards and visualizations to track key business metrics such as LTV, CAC, ROI etc

What we expect from you:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative, curious and team-oriented mindset
• 1-3 years of industry experience with a degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Physics, Mathematics or Engineering.
• Proficient in Statistics, Statistical Hypothesis Testing, Regression, Tree-based Machine Learning models, as well as Bagging and Boosting techniques
• Proficient in programming languages like Python and SQL. Knowledge of Pyspark will be an added advantage
• Prior experience of A/B testing and experimentation design will be an advantage
