Mel Jamero has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Mel started their career as an Application Developer and Curriculum Resource Specialist at Net Curricula, Inc., where they developed desktop and web applications and trained school teachers on using digital curriculum resources. Mel then progressed to roles of increasing responsibility, including IT Manager and AVP - Systems & Technology at GMA New Media, Inc., where they implemented various initiatives and improved business processes. Mel also worked as a Team Lead at Mindteck Singapore Pte Ltd, managing a team of consultants and improving communications with sales partners. Mel later founded Sagada Solutions Corp, a company they successfully managed until 2010. Mel also served as Principal Consultant + Project Manager at Info-Alchemy Pte Ltd where they implemented business intelligence and data integration projects for clients in Singapore. Prior to that, they worked as the COO at Nvinium Games Inc., where they successfully launched the Facebook game, Space Empires: Battle for Supremacy. Most recently, Mel held the position of Founder and President at Go Beyond Studios. Since 2012, Mel has been the Managing Director at Code and Theory, a creative agency that designs products and brand experiences across platforms, working with notable clients such as Bloomberg Media, The Guardian, and NBCUniversal.

Mel Jamero completed high school at Lourdes School of Mandaluyong from 1989 to 1993. Following that, from 1993 to 1995, Mel attended Saint Louis University (PH) and studied Computer Science. Afterward, Mel pursued a Bachelor of Science in Commerce with a focus on Computer Science at Dominican College from 1995 to 1998. There is no information regarding additional certifications obtained by Mel.
