Sophie Bower has an extensive background in marketing, with experience in various roles such as Marketing Director, Head of Marketing, and Global Marketing Director. Sophie has worked with companies such as 7-Eleven Australia, Virgin Holidays, and Vue Entertainment. She holds a Bachelor of Business and Bachelor of Communications from Monash University, majoring in Marketing, Management, Advertising, PR, and Arts.

Code First Girls is on a mission to close the gender gap in the tech industry by providing employment through free education. We’ve already taught more than 150,000+ women to learn to code and by working with companies globally, we’re boosting employability, diversity and social mobility, transforming local economies and communities. But we want to go further – our aim is to provide one million opportunities for women to learn to code and participate in the industry in the next five years, becoming the world’s first EdTech unicorn dedicated to women.
