Code for America
Isabel joins Code for America as a Sr Program Manager within the Safety Net Innovation Lab with over 10 years of experience in nonprofits, building bridges between communities and local governments. She believes that for initiatives to be successful, all stakeholders must be represented. Throughout her career in the Bay Area at the American Red Cross, The San Francisco-Marin Food Bank, and Meals on Wheels San Francisco, she has successfully brought community needs and government resources together. Isabel holds a bachelor’s degree from Carleton University, Ottawa Canada, and a master’s degree in International Law from the University of Nottingham, England. She hails from Mexico and Switzerland and spent her formative years in North America, Africa, and Europe.
