Simone Sequeira

Simone Sequeira is an experienced product manager with a strong background in agile methodologies and user-centered design. Currently serving as the Lead Product Manager at Code for America since February 2018, Simone oversees GetCalFresh.org, facilitating access to SNAP food assistance benefits for Californians. Prior roles include Senior Product Manager at Pivotal Labs, where Simone coached clients and drove product strategies, and Producer at GoldieBlox, Inc., successfully delivering 13 products in a year. Additional experience encompasses launching product lines at Blueberry Turtle and consulting for Shakti Energy in South Africa, along with engineering roles at TE Connectivity and Stanley Consultants. Simone holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering and further education from The Kaospilots and the University of North Texas.
