Jaime san Martin

Jaime San Martin is an experienced leader in the mining industry, currently serving as the Director of Salares de Chile SpA since May 2023, overseeing Codelco's lithium subsidiaries. With a tenure at CODELCO since April 2016, Jaime holds the positions of Business and Development VP and previously VP of Strategic Projects, focusing on business growth and the development of strategic projects related to lithium and other non-metallic minerals. Additionally, Jaime has held leadership roles as Chairman of Exploraciones Mineras Andinas S.A. and Director of CODELCO DO BRASIL MINERAÇÃO LTDA. Early career highlights include founding DSMIN SpA and leading New Tech Copper as CEO, along with significant contributions at SQM as Senior Vice President of Operations and Mining Affairs. Jaime holds a Civil Engineer degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and an Advanced Management Program qualification from Universidad de los Andes.
