Raul Puerto

Raul Puerto is an experienced audit and risk management professional, currently serving as the Chief Audit Executive at CODELCO since March 2021. Prior to this role, Raul held significant positions at SQM as Head of Internal Audit and Sox Compliance, and at Anglo American, where responsibilities included Head of Risk & Assurance for Copper and Audit Manager for LATAM. Raul's earlier career includes key roles at BHP as a Regional HR Team Leader and Corporate Senior Internal Auditor, as well as a Senior Consultant in Enterprise Risk Services at Deloitte. Beginning a career in processes and change management at RSA, Raul holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, completed in August 1997.
