Stephanie Forget

Stephanie Forget is a Senior Scientist in Protein Engineering at Codexis, Inc., where work has focused on advanced scientific research since November 2019. Prior to this role, Stephanie served as a Scientist in Process Chemistry. Academic experience includes a postdoctoral fellowship at The University of British Columbia, where research involved reaction profiling of a fungal radical copper oxidase for biocatalytic applications, and a position as a Research Associate at Dalhousie University, focusing on the characterization of a GT-1 glycosyltransferase from Streptomyces. Stephanie's academic journey culminated in a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry from Dalhousie University, where significant research was conducted on sugar biosynthetic enzymes and jadomycin biosynthesis during a PhD candidacy from 2011 to 2017.
