Dongki Lee has a diverse range of work experience, primarily in the fields of international trade and business management. Dongki'smost recent role was as the Chief Executive Officer at Coex since March 2022. Prior to this, they held multiple positions at the Korea International Trade Association (KITA), including Executive Managing Director of the Startup & Innovation Group from January 2019 to March 2022. Dongki also served as the Director of Strategic Planning from January to December 2019, Director of International Affairs from January 2018 to January 2019, Director of Public Policy Cooperation from January 2017 to January 2018, Spokesperson from January 2015 to January 2017, and Director of International Trade Cooperation from June to December 2014.
Dongki Lee began their education journey in 1985 at SKK GSB Sungkyunkwan University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in economics in 1993. They then pursued a Master's degree in international economic at the same institution from 1995 to 1998. In 1998, Dongki Lee attended the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and received a Certificate in Convention & Exhibition Management, which they completed in 1999.
Dongki Lee returned to SKK GSB Sungkyunkwan University and earned a Doctor of International Trade degree from Konkuk University in the field of international trade, studying from 2018 to 2020. In addition, they also achieved a degree in international trade from Sungkyunkwan University, although no specific timeline for this degree is provided.

Moreoever, Coex offers various event services such as live streaming, event backdrop system, lighting and branding, premium furniture rental and more. Venue Operation & Management Coex operates Coex Convention Center in Seoul as well as Changwon Convention Center in the Gyeongsangnam Province and WTC Binh Duong New City Expo, Vietnam. Coex also managed and operated the aT Center in Seoul from 2000 – 2020. Coex is now exploring new international partnerships to create, manage, build, and grow international exhibition and convention ventures in new markets.
