Raúl Sánchez, PhD, currently serves as the Director of Impact Investments at COFIDES, managing a 400 million EUR impact investment fund. Raúl is also a Business Angel and Shareholder at COREangels Madrid and a member of the Centro de Innovación en Tecnología para el Desarrollo Humano at itdUPM. With extensive experience in academia, Raúl has been a Visiting Professor at UNED, specializing in International Financing for the Specialist in Foreign Trade Postgraduate Course. Previously, as the Director of Strategy, Alliances & Open Innovation at Las Rozas Innova, Raúl led initiatives focusing on innovation and partnerships. Raúl has also contributed to organizations like Santander X, TEDxFunciona, ActivadoresODS, and Fiction Changing the World, emphasizing sustainable development and public sector engagement. Raúl holds a PhD in International Economics and Development and a Master's Degree in Law, both from Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
