Umberto Ferrer, CFA, possesses extensive experience in investment and portfolio management, risk management, and project monitoring, currently serving as a Manager in multiple divisions at COFIDES since May 2010. Prior to COFIDES, Umberto held the position of International Financial Controller at Hotusa from February 2009 to April 2010, and worked as a Financial Controller and Financial Analyst at Meliá Hotels International from June 2002 to July 2006. Umberto holds a Master’s Degree in Finance from IE Business School (2006-2007), a Hotel Real Estate Investments and Asset Management Certificate from Cornell University (July - November 2021), and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Universidad CEU San Pablo (1997-2001).
